Sponsorship Opportunities

The 2010 Southern Metal Finishing Conference will be held on October 3-5,  at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, SC. The conference will focus on training for the practical applications of powder coating, plating, and anodizing, and industrial parts cleaning.

Individual conference sponsorship opportunities are sold on a first come first serve basis. A summary of each opportunity is listed below and available through our online registration process.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Tabletop Exhibits

Exhibitors receive a skirted, 6' x 2' exhibit table for their display from 4pm Sunday afternoon through 6pm Monday evening. Events such as the Opening Night Reception will take place in the exhibit hall, giving exhibitors added exposure and a great opportunity to network with conference attendees. Your location within the exhibit hall will be assigned - please let us know if you have any specific needs or preferences and we will try to accommodate you. Please contact the hotel if you have specific power requirements. Limited to 35 exhibitors on a first come, first serve basis. - $300.00

Golf Tee Box and Event Sponsorship

Golf sponsorship This is our old tradition of placing a sign on tee boxes around the Patriots Point Links course featuring your company name and logo- in color on an 8x10 laminated card. You logo will also be featured on all golf tournament event signs, goody bag inclusion, and your company will receive an honorable mentions at our Award's Ceremony Luncheon on Tuesday, September 16th. $100.00

Scavenger Hunt & Pub Crawl Sponsorship

The Scavenger Hunt is one of the most popular social events we put on during the conference - and it keeps growing every year! Participants are divided into small teams, and are given a list of questions, tasks, objects, etc...to answer, complete, or find throughout downtown Charleston. The event culminates at a local Irish Pub for drinks, a late dinner or snack, and a chance for teams to finish their checklists. Sponsors of this event will receive recognition for their contribution by having their logos imprinted on Pub Crawl signs, score sheets given out to all players, as well as an honorable mention in the conference show book, and at the Award's Ceremony Luncheon on Tuesday, September 16th. Sponsorship includes scavenger hunt admission for two. $100.00

Show Directory Advertising

The Show Directory is distributed to each conference attendee and is a great way to showcase your company or a product - even if your company can't attend. In addition to valuable conference information, the Showbook also contains an assortment of formulas, conversion charts, and other helpful and useful information that makes these books more than just a one-time use item. Attendees from past years still keep them on their desks for a quick reference! Ads are Black and white.  Ads range in price from 100.00 for a quarter page to 300.00 for a full page.  Back and inside back cover are available on a first come first serve basis.

Hospitality Suite Sponsorship

Hospitality Suite sponsors will have their logo displayed on a poster sized sign that will stay in the hospitality suite the duration of the three day conference. We will keep refreshments and snacks available in this room, which students and attendees will be encouraged to frequently visit during the 3 day conference. $150.00

Break Table Sponsorship

Break Table Sponsors will have their logo displayed prominently in the beverage and snack area that will be frequented by students, exhibitors, and conference attendees throughout the day. $100.00

Opening Night Reception Sponsorship

Our Opening Night Reception is limited to two sponsors on a first come, first serve basis. This package includes your high quality logo displayed all around the reception area, on all of the cocktail napkins used during the event, and your company will be announced as the evening's sponsor. As a bonus, your company will also be be announced as the "beer sponsor" during the live filming of "Finishing Talk Live" that will take place during the reception. $1,000
