FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Charleston, SC Southern Metal
Finishing, an annual metal finishing conference held each year
in historic Charleston, SC, has announced that registration is
now opened for its September 14th-16th, 2008 conference and
tradeshow. This year’s conference will be held at the majestic Francis
Marion Hotel, and will feature the Powder Coating
School, taught by the experts at Tiger Drylac, and
21st Century Cleaning Technologies, taught by world renowned
cleaning expert, Dr. John B. Durkee, in addition to a variety
of events for attendees to participate in over the duration of the show.
The conference, hosted by the International Surface Finishing
Academy, is in its 5th year running. It has become well known for its
unique Scavenger Hunt event, which leads participants through downtown
Charleston in a fun and competitive team building exercise to
collect items and answer trivia questions, culminating at the famous Rooftop
Bar. Other social and educational events planned for the event include the
infamous Swamp Fox Scramble Golf Tournament, a keynote
luncheon, vendor exhibits, and technical
sessions.
